Design
Sketches and a drawing for every piece, made to fit real rooms.

Solid wood tables, chairs and storage, made to order in our Yogyakarta workshop. Simple shapes, honest materials, built to last for decades.
Each piece is built by one maker, start to finish, with joints that hold for generations.
Certified oak and walnut, and teak reclaimed from old houses and boats.
Wrapped by hand and delivered across Indonesia, or shipped abroad on request.

Our workshop
We started as a two-person workshop making tables for friends. Today eight makers build every piece in the same room, using the tools and joints we learned from Javanese carpenters.
Nothing is mass-produced. If you visit, you'll probably meet the person making your table.

Sketches and a drawing for every piece, made to fit real rooms.
Wood from certified and reclaimed sources, dried slowly before use.
Joined by hand with traditional joints, then sanded smooth.
Natural oils that protect the wood and let the grain show.
“Our Laras table was made a little shorter to fit the dining room, and it arrived exactly as drawn. Three years on, it's the piece everyone asks about.”
Most are. We build each piece after you order, which is why lead times are 3 to 8 weeks. Lamps and small tables are often ready sooner.

Send us the size of your room and a few photos. We'll suggest pieces, finishes and a price, or design something just for it.
